The ministry's spokesperson Deifallah al-Fayez condemned the "continued Israeli violations."
The Kingdom of Jordan has requested that Israel "respect the sanctity" of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and the status quo, after it recently reopened to Muslim worshipers following a two-month hiatus amid coronavirus lockdowns.
According to Jordan's official news agency Petra, "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has sent Israel, via diplomatic channels, a memo calling on Tel Aviv as an occupying power to respect the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif, and end all provocations and violations there."

There is a record number of Jews visiting the holy spot, where the Jewish Temple once stood.

For the Arabs to claim exclusivity is a travesty of history and justice.

Like a spoiled kid in a schoolyard, if the child is not willing to share his toys, he will be left without any to play with.

If the Arabs insist that Jews have no rights on the Temple Mount, they will lose it much sooner than they expect.

They know their days are numbered.

By the way, at the Kotel, we allow non Jews to pray all the time.  Often I see Christian groups praying there, and even an odd Muslim.  To deny Jews access to the Temple Mount is also stupid.  It reflects on the fundamental Muslim feeling that they truly don't belong there, so they show outward hubris by not allowing anyone else to pray there.

I call on the PM to establish a Beit Knesset and Yeshiva on the Temple Mount.  We are now ready.
