CTech – Israeli retail chains are reporting a massive jump in online sales amid growing fears that the government will impose a new lockdown to try to curb the spread of the second wave of the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and in light of the number of people who have gone into quarantine. According to chains, last week saw a 100% increase in online orders, compared to the previous week.

Online sales in Israel, before Corona, were much lower than in the OECD countries.  Today it has reached much higher levels.  Many businesses which do online delivery, have had to hire extra workers for fulfilment and delivery.
